My job is so easy when I have “pretty people” to shoot!  And even easier when they not only have outer beauty, but the goodness of their heart shines through to their outside as well.  Cindy (the mom) has a genuine love for our Lord that permeates to every part of her life!  Her smile is always there whether she’s in good times or bad, because she remains steadfast in knowing that God’s in control!  I’ve watched her minister to others, giving endless love, words of encouragement and support, all while walking through her own trials!  Over the years we’ve become friends, I’ve watched her grow and heal.  Cindy is such an inspiration to her girls, friends, and anyone who has the privilege of knowing her!   Love you my friend!

If you have teens, you know how hard it is to get them all in one place at the same time.  Jay has not one, but three teens and wanted family pictures.  Between schedules, weather and kidney stones, we were beginning to wonder if we’d ever pull off a shoot.  The day finally arrives when it looks like nothing will come in the way… then low and behold a storm blows in!  Go figure!  So here’s a few shots from our very short and sweet shoot!

No for real!  They were just the sweetest family who made me smile!  The way the girls laughed and giggled.  Lydia sharing with me her “poses” she’d practiced earlier that day to prepare for our shoot and Claire, who made more funny faces than I’ve ever seen in one shoot!  I loved watching the interaction between the girls and their parents.  I could almost see the love coming out of Jim and Laura’s pours!  And then there was the quiet moment that Jim and Laura shared on the swing….  so cute!  Thanks so much for allowing me to capture the love and fun of  your family!!  Below are some of my favorites from our time together.

I’ve always taught my children that Christmas is about giving.  Just as God sent us his only begotten Son on Christmas, so that one day, Jesus could sacrifice his life to die on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.  So in this Christmas season, people often look for ways to give to others.  It may be our time at a shelter serving meals, or our money to someone we know who can use a helping hand or gifts to those in need or maybe we give our talents.  Whatever your method of giving, I just encourage you give.  It’s an AMAZING gift to give to another!  My family and I will give this holiday season, but it dawned on me that Cindy Bayne Photography should also give this season! So here’s the plan…..

I can’t describe the joy I felt when meeting sweet baby Ella and seeing the interaction between her and her loving parents!  It took me back in time…  to my own first child and how in just a moment, I felt complete

I met with Kathryn and Derek to take pictures of the parents in waiting, expecting their first baby!  And their wait is almost over!  Their little girl will be here soon!  They were the sweetest couple and I loved watching the way they shared a special look with one another.  And how Derek always had his hand on Kathryn’s belly rubbing up and down.  Their excitement was contagious!  Thanks for allowing me to capture this special time for the two of you!  I hope you enjoy this preview!!   

My hubby and I had the opportunity to spend a long weekend in Jacksboro, TN with our best friends, Randy and Arlene.  They were so sweet to drive around looking for the perfect “photo op” for me!  We found an old Massey Ferguson tractor in the backyard of a rundown old house on a forgotten dirt road.  I announced to everyone I was going up to the door to ask permission to photograph the tractor.  They didn’t believe I’d do it.  Before I even made it near the door a woman popped her head out, not looking very happy to see me intruding on her privacy.  I gave her a big smile and a warm hello.  Her expression never changed.  I asked if I could go in the backyard and take pics and was surprised by the “yea”.  So off I went before she changed her mind.  After she opened and closed the back door a few times, I got the message that my time was up.  I took a bunch of pictures, but picked one to play with in Lightroom.  I’m experimenting with the artsy look.   Here are my results.
